Episode 88 – Can a simple suggestion bring new life and possibility into your faith?

It is very hard to recognize what is “normal” for us until we encounter something that interrupts us out of the trance of the day-to-day by introducing something different than we expected.

In this episode, we explore how a living faith is one that is seeking to express something unique and creative within you. It is a hunch of possibility, that is NOT normal – at least not to us, because otherwise we would be doing it already!

Trance and the power of suggestion are powerful tools that shape and create social expectations about what is normal, but interestingly enough we can also use those tools to create something new as we strive to move out of the life we are used to and more deeply into our calling, our purpose or even simply into just doing something that we have wanted to do forever!

Episode 87 – A simple technique to move from anxiety into a state of ease and flow

In this episode I share an exercise that helps me move from feeling out of sync to feeling full of life, ease and possibility.

It is simple, but very powerful. Try using this frequently and see how it transforms your own life – it is especially useful to create more space in yourself when you are in the middle of tense situations or facing something new and challenging.

In this episode I share how I used this technique to move past anxiety and depression and start my week with more eagerness and focus. Which is more the mindset I need because this week is looking to be very hard, demanding and also very rewarding.

Episode 86: Four steps to open your own hidden doorway and begin a new spiritual adventure

We can get so jaded with life. All the mystery gets explained away by all the sciency facts and data….yet despite how reality can sometimes seem very cold and boring….there is another facet of life that is common, very real, and yet at the same time deeply mysterious.

Dreams are still a realm of consciousness that is not very well understood. Sleep is also still quite a profound mystery that we really don’t understand very well. So within these strange worlds, we have a daily opportunity to explore our own private landscape and encounter things that defy explanation. It can be a little like unlocking that secret entrance in the library or by stumbling through the other end of the closet. One minute you’re casually exploring, and the next you find yourself awake in an entirely new world. It is the stuff of a fantasy novel, but we can plunge into this world every night.

In this episode, learn how to open up the world of dreams as a new arena to cultivate awareness. Use these four fundamentals to become more present in both your waking and sleeping moments.
